A Semi full of baled hay caught fire this week  on I5 in Oregon The driver Survived but his truck and load did not. The cause of the fires remains unknown and will be the subject of further investigation.  The Oregon State Police is asking anyone who might have information relating to the cause or origin of the fires to contact Senior Trooper Corey Simons of the Albany Area Command at (541) 967-2026 ext. 4200.

I have personally observed folks from the homeless population cooking over open fires along the freeway and also smokers throwing lit smokes out the window. I guess they don’t realize the amount of Chemicals,Fuel, Military munitions and such that are transported through Oregon on a daily basis. We all need to be aware of our surroundings .

But The Beat goes on and on. The moral of the story is Sit down shut up and try obeying the rules of the road…

on July 15 2008  a bicyclist ran a red light and struck a Pickup truck doing extensive damage to himself.

On July 17 2008 a bicyclist displayed signs of aggressive behavior towards a Tri-Met Bus.

However to be fair KGW did a survey at a busy intersection with the bicycles being slightly ahead in violations.

The Morons at City Hall need to quit selectively enforcing the rules of the road and require insurance and user fees for cyclists as they do for the folks that pay for the roads in the first place.

This is a pattern of Government gone wild and must be stopped. Please contact your favorite moron.

Myself as soon as I can retire I am selling out and moving to the other Oregon.

Fortunately no one was killed and the Accident occurred before the rush hour. Otherwise the commute would have been a long one.

Meanwhile  The Politicians argue about Upgrading the Freeway and bridges while adding to the cost with a bunch of mass transit,bicycle and pedestrian lanes.

I for one would like to run all these morons off and elect a new bunch.

University and two fellow Marines were among more than 20 people killed in an Iraq suicide attack.

Lt. Col. Max A. Galeai, 42, the commanding officer of the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, died Thursday in the Anbar province of Iraq, about 30 miles west of Baghdad, according to the U.S. Marines.

I am glad that nobody died. I hope the reporter in this story learns the difference between a truck and a Pick up.

The headline says truck jumped median. The only truck pictured is upright on all 18 wheels…

They Shot him in the neck for Eight dollars and left him to die.

They were apprehended and were indicted in his death on June,26.

Our thoughts and prayers are given for his family and friends.

We also wish that the two robbers never see the light of freedom again.
